Mock Theory Test
About the Mock Test
What to expect
This mock test mirrors the format of the real DVSA multiple-choice exam: 50 questions drawn from every topic, answered against the clock with a 57-minute time limit. The pass mark is 43 out of 50 — the same standard the DVSA applies. The questions here are practice questions written for revision; the DVSA does not publish its live exam bank, so no practice site contains the actual test questions.
How to use your results
Treat each mock as a diagnosis rather than a verdict. Your score breaks down by topic, so a 44 built on shaky motorway rules still tells you where the next hour of revision should go. Flag any question you were unsure about even if you guessed correctly — a lucky guess is a gap in disguise. Most learners find their scores swing by several marks between attempts, so aim to pass a few mocks in a row, ideally with 47 or more, before booking the real thing.
Remember that the official test also includes a short case study and a separate hazard perception section, so build video clip practice into your plan as well.
